Minister for Justice Helen Mc Entee opens a public consultation on Parental Alienation June 2022:
I was delighted to be invited to contribute to the national paradigm of Parental Alienation in Ireland on national radio recently. The key message for me is locating this dialogue as a child welfare issue requiring a response consistent with all other forms of child abuse rather than the reductionist narratives of PA being used by denigrator’s to locate parental alienation as a gendered issue creating confusion and misinformation while taking the focus away from the harms for young people and children.
